Wow, 2006 already. To think only six years ago we were celebrating the new mellinneum. Hope everyone had a good one. Not much happening with me. My dad picked up my driver's book, but I'm not too excited to start reading it just yet. I feel blah...eating a nice variety of peanuts right now instead of dinner, oh a raisin. Trying to get back into my writing mode after the family vacation... I've recently been on a Interpol craze, or, more approprietly, still am on one. I saw this one picture of the band at some award thing and they all look really great except for Paul who just looks blah with his hair all funny and ugly glasses and his outfit (that made him look round, more maybe he was actually a bit rounder then). But whatever I love them all the same. Its unfortunate that they're on a break right now, I'd love to see them live. Well that's it for now. Cheers!

Ugh, Chirstmas is tomorrow and I'm not quite feeling in the holiday spirit. Today tomorrow I have two dinners, and monday I'm vacationing with my family and my uncle's for a week. Ya, more family! But they're actually not so bad, my one cousin is going to be there and he's pretty funny. Its just sometimes you want your holidays to be simple and uncomplicated, but I'm thankful anyway I suppose. Ha I just saw this LJ list of popular interests and Franz ranks around the three thousands the good news they're above Madonna, bad news they're below strawberries. Ha, thought that was kind of funny. So...I'm tired and bored right now. Oh my film presentation was yesterday and I swear to god I've never shook so much in front of a class in my whole life. Well actually I wasn't in front of the class, I asked if I could stand near the tv so I have easy access to the DVD thing, but actually I felt more comfortable there because I needed something beside me... or because it was so big I could hide behind it. Well not much else to add except that my first hours of holiday are going absolutely swimmingly, and by the way that was a heavy dose of sarcasm. Cheers to all my friends and hope your holidays go great.

Blah...this saturday Amanda had a sleepover for her birthday! It was funny to say the least. Full of spicy buffalo wings, lazy susans, !FRANZ!, virgin strawberry daiquiris, and a huge cat named Bear who doesn't love me!!!!! Why Bear!? Why?! I just wanted to be your friend! I also seemed to be the only one who had mad hair when we all woke up the next morning which made me really self conscience and wishing that I'd brought my good brush. But it was really quite good. I enjoyed it. We also had a nice laugh with the unawarness of the tinge of sexual undercurrents in a piece of poetry. Eh Amanda? Just a tinge right? ^.^ Oh man I don't think you'll ever live that one down. Oh I also smoked Rachael in the face with a sweet 16 ballon like not even three minutes after they let me in the house.

Ugh...even better news is that my birthday is tomorrow *groan*. I don't want it! The phone never stops ringing, people sing happy birthday to you. I mean what are you supposed to do while their singing that?! You can't really look just at one person and you can't really look at all of them either. I feel compelled to laugh when I get sung happy birthday at the people of course not with them and just hide my head because its so embarassing. Even worst its my 16th so all my family are going to be saying stuff like Oh do you feel much older? Are yo exicited to drive? and bug me about boyfriends....eeewwww boys!!! COOTIES! (hehe another party reference)

So...I dunno I suppose I'll just grim and bear it with a smile like on those Orbitz gum commercials, or Bob from some viagra commercial only without...well you know. Amanda would espcially be familiar with what I'm talking about. Well I suppose I'll end this journal the same way I started it...Halb

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA!!!!

Wow it seems like forever since I updated my journal. I supposes its because I'm so busy like many of my friends this time of year. I have ISUs to be working on, birthday parties, formal. Can't wait for Christmas break. O! I think my community hours are going to be due soon. Damn it I still need four hours! Well no surprise here, but I must be going...
